A strike on the railway infrastructure in Lozovaya: one dead, ten injured.
The Russian army struck railway facilities in the town of Lozovaya, Kharkiv Region. As a result of the attack, a mechanic on duty was killed and ten other people were injured.
According to Ukrzaliznytsya, the attack hit the station building and other railway infrastructure. Most of the people on the spot managed to take cover, but casualties could not be avoided. Four railway workers were injured. Later, the State Service for Emergency Situations specified that the total number of injured is ten people.
The injured are receiving the necessary medical care.
The attack led to changes in the movement of trains. Train No. 66/65 - 166/165 "Uman - Cherkassy - Kharkiv" is sent on a bypass route, which will cause delays of up to one hour. Similar measures have been taken for other trains of Kramatorsk direction. For passengers from and to Lozovaya a transfer to buses to Panyutino station has been organised.
The attack took place on the night of 5 August in a large-scale attack by Shahed-type kamikaze drones. The drones were spotted in several directions at once.
