Kuleba and Reznikov ask allies to urgently provide Ukraine with Leopard tanks

The appeals come against the backdrop of the threat of a new large-scale offensive by Russia.
The politicians said in a joint statement.
The appeal comes amid the threat of a new large-scale Russian offensive. Defence Minister Reznikov and Foreign Minister Kuleba believe the Kremlin is determined to escalate the war further.
In the appeal, the ministers ask Canada, Denmark, Greece, Finland, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Turkey to hand over Leopard 2 to Ukraine so that they can be used in defence of Ukraine's territorial integrity.
We appeal to all these and other nations with the appropriate capabilities to join and make practical contributions to the initiative to establish an international tank coalition in support of Ukraine. We call for this to be done for the sake of the millions of civilians who continue to face mortal danger.
