The commander of the marines urged the world to save the military and civilians in Mariupol (video)

The commander of the 36th Marine Brigade, Sergei Volyn, called on Ukraine, the United States, Turkey and Britain to save the remnants of Ukrainian forces and civilians who are at the Azovstal plant in Mariupol.
This may be our last call. We may have only a few days or hours left. The grouping of the enemy is dozens of times larger than us, he said.
According to the Marine, there are already more than 500 wounded and hundreds of civilians at the plant, including women and children.
We are asking world leaders to help us. We are asking to apply the "extraction" procedure to us and take us to the territory of a third country, - Volyn emphasized.
Earlier, the commander of the Marines proposed two ways to deblockade Mariupol.
The first is a sharp military operation that will take place right now with all the necessary means. A quantitative, well-equipped grouping of forces, which in a single spurt, with a sharp and deep blow, will unite us in our defense area. I consider air superiority and artillery superiority to be key,” he said.
Volyn called the next option "possible, but complicated and risky."
The second is a political decision. I see it as quite real under the condition of effective diplomacy. This is the creation of international control over the security of the exit of the military garrison and civilians who have fallen into the trap of war, the military said.
