Kellogg talks about a peace deal for Ukraine

No one will impose a peace agreement on Ukraine.
The US president's special representative for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, has confirmed that the USA will not impose the terms of the peace agreement on Ukraine. This is reported on Sky News.
Speaking at NATO headquarters in Brussels, Kellogg emphasised that the decision on the peace agreement will be made directly by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and the Ukrainian people.
"He and the people of Ukraine will make that decision," the US official said.
According to him, the United States will take into account all proposals and provide security guarantees for Ukraine.
Kellogg also noted that the Donald Trump administration was working on a "peace plan" to end the war, but its implementation was temporarily suspended. This is due to the need to harmonise approaches with European partners.
Earlier, Trump claimed that he was able to stop the fighting within a day, but later his statements became more restrained. He assured that Kiev would be a full participant in any peace process.
Kellogg's statement emphasises the US readiness to support Ukraine in its quest for peace without imposing its own terms. This is important against the backdrop of increased diplomatic efforts and continued military assistance to Ukraine.
