The Cabinet of Ministers amended the procedure for providing assistance for IDPs

Assistance will be credited automatically without re-applying.
Providing assistance to an internally displaced person (IDP) from the 1st day of the month following the month in which the community from which the person was displaced is included in the list of territorial communities located in the area of hostilities or under temporary occupation. This was reported by the Office of the Ombudsman of Ukraine.

- in the event of an IDP changing place of registration and not receiving a living allowance at the previous place of residence/stay, payment is assigned at the last place of registration.
In addition, it is determined that residence assistance will not be provided to IDPs who were registered before February 24, 2022.
Excluding persons who:
- received monthly targeted assistance to IDPs to cover living expenses, including housing and communal services;
- relocated from the territory temporarily occupied by Russia, from the territory of communities located in the area of hostilities or under temporary occupation, encirclement or blockade after February 24, 2022.
