In Ukraine, the age limit for working in the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been increased

The Cabinet of Ministers has raised the age limit for working in the bodies of the Ministry of the Interior.



The government has amended the regulation on the service of the rank and file and the commanding staff of the internal affairs bodies and now law enforcement officers will be able to continue serving for a longer period. This is stated in the Telegram of the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk.

He said that the middle and senior commanding staff have now raised the age limit in the service from 45 to 55 years.

Also, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were allowed to divide their vacation into several parts, the procedure for passing attestation, as well as temporary employment during long holidays, was regulated.

It is known that all the police officers who remained in the territories occupied by Russia were dismissed from the ranks of the National Police. They are not paid a salary. The Ministry of Internal Affairs explained that an order had been signed, which required, in accordance with the operational and military situation, to arrive at a certain time at the places of deployment. For example, workers from Melitopol and Berdyansk had to arrive in the city of Zaporozhye. The same applied to Kherson, districts of Lugansk or Kharkiv region. However, some employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs decided not to do this. moreover, some of them went over to the side of the enemy.
