As far as US companies are concerned, 18% have exited from Russia.

This is stated in the results of a study published by the Swiss University of St Gallen.

The study shows that most European and global companies have stayed in Russia, working there, paying taxes while Russia is committing genocide in Ukraine. The number of those who have left Russia is only 9%.

The study's findings suggest that Western firms are leaving the market en masse. In fact, many companies headquartered in these countries have resisted pressure from governments, media and NGOs to leave Russia after the invasion of Ukraine.

The researchers counted more companies headquartered in the U.S. that have left Russia, but still not enough overall. Only 18 percent of U.S. companies have exited the terrorist country's business.

Of those EU and G7 firms that have remained in Russia, 19.5 per cent are owned by Germany, 12.4 per cent by Americans and 7 per cent by Japanese multinationals. These findings call into question the willingness of Western firms to break away from economies that their governments now view as geopolitical rivals.
