Israeli minister suggested hitting Gaza with a nuclear bomb

Netanyahu was reacting to the minister's statements, which received a wide public response.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suspended from government meetings the Minister of Israeli Heritage, a member of the "Otzma Yehudit" party, Amihai Eliyahu, who in an interview allowed the possibility of a nuclear strike on Gaza, reports "The times of Israel".
Thus, during the interview, the minister said that there are allegedly no civilians in Gaza. One of the acceptable options, in his opinion, is to drop a nuclear bomb.
He also said that no humanitarian aid should go to Gaza. Asked about the fate of the Palestinian population, Eliyahu said: "They can go to Ireland or the deserts. The monsters in Gaza must find a solution for themselves."
Furthermore, he said that the lives of the kidnapped Israelis are no more precious than the lives of Israeli soldiers.
I pray and hope for their return, but war has a price. Why is the life of the kidnapped, whose release I want very much, more important than the lives of soldiers and people who will be killed later?" he said.
During the conversation, the politician emphasised that anyone who waves the flag of Palestine or Hamas "should not continue to live on the land".
Netanyahu reacted to the politician's statements and said they lack reality.
Eliyahu's statements are devoid of any connection to reality. Israel and the IDF are acting according to the highest moral standards, respecting international law, to prevent the deaths of the uninvolved. We will act this way until victory," the Prime Minister said.
Prime Minister Netanyahu's office announced that Eliyahu has been suspended from government meetings indefinitely.
Journalists emphasise that Eliyahu has nothing to do with the three-member military cabinet that is leading the war against the Hamas terror group.
