Iran intends to send Russia hundreds of ballistic missiles with a range of 120 kilometres - mass media

Western resources claim that these missiles are analogues of the Highmars.
According to Reuters, Tehran plans to supply Russia with several hundred Fath-360 ballistic missiles, which the Kremlin intends to use to terrorise the Ukrainian population. This is reported by Reuters with reference to sources in European intelligence.
It is indicated that these will be hundreds of ballistic missiles with a range of 120 kilometres.
Dozens of Russian servicemen are now learning in Iran how to use the Fath-360 Fath-360 ballistic missile system, with the "imminent delivery to Russia" of hundreds of satellite-guided weapons for its war in Ukraine expected, the agency writes.
It is noted that the relevant contract was signed in Tehran back in December last year.
A senior Iranian official told Reuters on condition of anonymity that there was no legal ban on Iran selling such weapons to Moscow.
The US did not comment on the likely shipment of Iranian ballistics, but White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby emphasised that NATO and G7 allies are prepared for a "swift and tough response if Iran makes such a transfer".
Defence cooperation between Iran and Russia has intensified after the latter launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
Note that Fath 360 missiles belong to the Fateh family of ballistic missiles. The missile is 4 metres long and 30cm in diameter, weighs between 850-1100kg with a 150kg warhead and has a range of 80-120km, guided by satellite navigation.
