Iran has started supplying the Kremlin with the latest Qaem-5 guided bombs for strikes on Ukraine.

Iran has for the first time supplied the Russian Federation with the latest Qaem-5 precision guided bombs for strikes against Ukraine. This was reported by Bild on 27 April.

Iran has for the first time supplied Russia with the latest aerial bombs for strikes on Ukraine, an expert in the analysis of open data, Julian Repke, has said.

He said that the previous day a heavy Iranian drone Qods Mohajer-6 crashed in Russian Federation. It carried on board the latest Iranian guided aerial bombs Qaem-5.

It is noted that Iran adopted these aerial bombs in 2019.

Probably, the drone was supposed to attack the Sumy region of Ukraine, but fell for an unknown reason.

Earlier, Russian troops did not use Qaem-5 aerial bombs in Ukraine. According to Repke, their use indicates a "new level" of military co-operation between Iran and the Russian Federation.

Earlier Socialportal reported that the AFU for the first time destroyed Iranian strike drone in 2022.

Recall, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, the country's Interior Minister and other officials were killed in a helicopter crash on 19 May.
