In Chernivtsi, an FSB agent spied "undercover" as a delivery courier

The SBU has detained an FSB agent who was spying in Chernivtsi Region under the "cover" of a courier delivery service. This was reported by the SBU on 12 July.

As a result of a special operation in Chernivtsi, an FSB agent was detained who was preparing coordinates for the fire attack on key transport routes.

The occupants were also interested in the geolocations of hospitals where Ukrainian soldiers undergo treatment and rehabilitation.

Acting "under the guise" of a courier of a popular delivery service, the agent on his own scooter travelled around the area, where he fixed the objects he needed, - reported in the SBU.

The SBU detained the agent red-handed when he was preparing an agency "report" to the FSB. The aggressor's accomplice is a local resident, an ideological supporter of Rashism.

He came to the attention of the occupants through his acquaintance from the Russian Federation, who cooperated with the FSB.

The traitor also repeatedly spread pro-Kremlin views in Russian video chats.

During searches in the detainee's flat, two mobile phones and a computer with evidence of criminal activity were seized.

SBU investigators informed him of suspicion under two articles of the Criminal Code:

• ч. 2 Art. 111 (high treason committed under martial law);
• ч. 1 of Article 436-2 (justification, recognition of legitimate, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).

The spy is in custody, he faces life imprisonment.

Earlier, Socialportal reported that the SBU reported suspicion of a pastor-agent of the FSB, who recruited his sons to spy on AFU units.
