How to make a delicious mimosa salad: three recipes

Mimosa salad is very popular in Ukraine.
This salad consists of several layers of different ingredients, usually including potatoes, carrots, tinned fish, eggs, onions and mayonnaise.
1. Classic recipe for Mimosa salad:
- Potatoes: 2-3 pcs.
- Carrots: 2 pcs.
- Canned sardine or tuna: 1 can
- Eggs: 4 pcs.
- Onion: 1 pc.
- Mayonnaise: to taste
2. Recipe for salad "Mimosa" with cheese:
- The same ingredients as in the classic recipe
- Hard cheese: 150 g
3. Recipe for salad "Mimosa" with apples:
- The same ingredients as in the classic recipe
- Apple: 1 pc.
Preparation instructions (example based on the classic recipe):
1. Boil potatoes and carrots until cooked, then cool and grate them on a coarse grater.
2. Boil the eggs separately, cool and separate the whites and yolks. Grate the whites into a fine grater.
3. Open the can of fish, discard the liquid and mash the fish with a fork.
4. Finely chop the onion and fry it lightly in a frying pan.
5. In a deep dish lay out the layers in the following order: potatoes, mayonnaise, fish, mayonnaise, onion, mayonnaise, carrots, mayonnaise, whites, mayonnaise. Finish with a layer of yolks grated on a fine grater, creating a "mimosa" effect.
For cheese and apple options, simply add grated cheese or apple as one of the layers.
