Hackers have posted fake news about the alleged "defeat" of elite AFU units in Avdiivka by Russian troops.

Russianhackers attacked the resources of some Ukrainian mass media and published fake news about Avdiyivka. The State Spetsvyaz reported on 18 February.

Russia continues its information war against our country. Today, Russian hackers made another attack on a number of Ukrainian media outlets and posted fake information on their resources," the statement said.

It is reported that representatives of Ukrayinska Pravda, Liga.net, Apostroph and Telegraf have already applied to the government's Computer Emergency Response Team CERT-UA, operating under the State Specialised Communications Service.

Specialists are conducting an investigation into the incident.

LIGA.net said that the editorial office was not involved in the publication of Russian disinformation and that the website had been hacked by unknown people.

Also, Ukrayinska Pravda said that on Sunday evening unknown people hacked their account on the social network X.
