According to intelligence reports, anticipating an attack by the AFU and the liberation of the right-bank part of Kherson Oblast, the Russian military planned a series of terrorist attacks back in April.

During the current week, the invaders are mining the locks and supports of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station.

Also, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense reported:

2 military tarpaulin "Kamaz" without drivers were installed on the dam. Cars are fully loaded with explosives.

If the occupants' plans are implemented, dozens of Ukrainian settlements, including Kherson, will be hit by the elements.

The GUR spoke about the consequences of damage to the Kakhovskaya HPP:

The scale of the ecological catastrophe in this case will go far beyond the borders of Ukraine and affect the entire Black Sea region.
