Germany says until which year it is ready to support Ukraine

Germany is determined to continue providing Ukraine with military assistance.
Germany plans long-term support for Ukraine, both in confronting the enemy and in rebuilding the country after the devastating war. This was reported by European Pravda with reference to Major-General Christian Freiding, head of the Special Staff for Ukraine at the German Defence Ministry.
He pointed out that if at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation it was mainly about situational support, now there is planning for a long-term perspective. According to him, the state budget of Germany includes assistance to Ukraine until 2032.
Military support for Ukraine is a task until the end of the decade and beyond. Our budget planning already includes funds by 2032, which shows our determination," the general emphasised.
Freiding emphasised that after the outbreak of war in the Middle East, the priority task for Germany has not changed - the country supports Ukraine in the same way as Israel. However, he noted that the initial situation in the two states is different.
The Ukrainian armed forces are just beginning to modernise. Israel's army is well-equipped, well-trained and ready to wage war from day to day. The economic capabilities of Ukraine and Israel are also quite different. In addition, the nature of war is different," Christian Freiding explained.
Speaking about financial and other support for Kiev, Freiding added that "the fight for freedom has no expiry date.
