Recently, there has been a rapprochement between the Georgian and Russian authorities and this statement may indicate Russia's real intentions

He said this in an interview with Imedi TV channel:

In any case, I think the war will end next year. It is after the war that it will be easier to reset relations with any administration, be it the administration of Democrats or Republicans... said the country's Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

We will remind, 26 October 2024 parliamentary elections will be held in Georgia.
