For the first time in Ukraine, a Shahed jet was shot down

The Ukrainian air defence has shot down the Shahed-238 strike jet UAV for the first time. This was reported by military expert Serhiy Flesh on 8 January.

The expert noted that the jet-powered Shaheds can now fly all over the country.

It is pointed out that although the jet drone's speed is high, air defences shoot it down.

Mobile groups with "anti-aircraft guns" are useless, they should be issued now MANPADS (Osa, Igla, Stinger), - said the expert.

He also noted that Ukrainians should know that apart from the sound of a "moped" in the sky, there is now the sound of an aircraft.
