Fewer Germans already believe in Ukraine's victory - Bild

On the part of the Germans, support for Ukraine is declining.
The number of Germans who believe in Ukraine's victory over the enemy has become less than a year ago. This is evidenced by the results of a poll conducted by the INSA sociological institute, Bild has reported.
So, according to its results, only 14% of Germans now believe in the victory of Ukraine in the war, while a year ago this figure was 20%. Another 26% of Germans believe that Russia can win the war. At the same time, the majority of Germans (47%), as before, believe that neither side will win.
Also, Bild notes, the attitude towards support for Ukraine has changed for the worse over the year.
If in February 2023, 49% of Germans believed that the actions of the German government in support of Ukraine are not enough, and only 35% said the opposite. Now 42% are satisfied with the level of support, 40% are not," the study said.
It is known that in 2024 Germany will provide Ukraine with military aid worth 7.1 billion euros, of which a package of 1.1 billion euros is being prepared. German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz said this at a joint press conference in Berlin with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
