- Evacuation bus on the Lysychansk-Bakhmut highway managed to leave under shelling

On May 17, 76 people were evacuated from the Lugansk region, despite constant shelling.
This was announced by the head of the region Sergei Gaidai.
Highway "Lysichansk-Bakhmut" under fire.
Evacuation "bus" slipped through. 36 people were evacuated from Lisichansk and Severodonetsk, including six children!, he said.
Gaidai notes that each flight of evacuation transport is a risk.
Our drivers come under fire almost every day. We are lucky, people get only a fright, but the machines fail. Today patrol police officers took away 36 people from Severodonetsk and Lisichansk. Near the oil refinery and in the Vladimirovka area, the bus came under fire. "Grad" lay down almost along the highway. Everybody is alive. We slipped through. The armored truck is working. Everyone is safe now,” he wrote.
In total, according to him, 76 people were taken out of the region today.
