Another country has proposed a "peace plan" for Ukraine and has been responded to

Kiev has already said that it does not accept peace initiatives that involve the loss of any land.
An Indonesian "peace plan" for resolving the military conflict on Ukrainian territory has been proposed for Ukraine. In particular, Indonesia suggests a cease-fire, fixing the current positions of the sides and creating a demilitarized zone between them. Furthermore, to hold referendums under the aegis of the UN on the "disputed" territories, Reuters has reported.
Indonesian Defence Minister Prabowo Subianto voiced such initiatives during the Shangri-La Dialogue defence conference in Singapore.
At the same time, he stressed that the events in Ukraine have an impact on the entire world, in particular, due to the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia, food prices are rising, as well as the cost of energy resources.
Subianto added that Indonesia was ready to take part in a "peacekeeping solution to the conflict".
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reacted to the statements made by the Asian country's defence minister. Diplomatic spokesman Oleh Mykolenko said on Facebook that Indonesia might misinterpret what is happening, as "there are no disputed territories between Ukraine and Russia to hold referendums there, and the occupation of part of Ukraine is a fact recorded in official UN documents.
The Russian army is committing war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide on the occupied territories. Russia must withdraw from Ukrainian territories and Ukraine must restore its territorial integrity within internationally recognised borders. There can be no alternative scenarios," the diplomat said.
Mykolayenko pointed out that the ceasefire, the 15-kilometre distance between the forces and the demilitarised zone will not work because Russia will not stop and will only use it to accumulate new forces to strike again at Ukraine.
Nikolaenko also invited Indonesia to join Ukraine's peace initiatives. They consist of the complete withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of a sovereign state and the provision of security guarantees to Ukraine in the radiation, nuclear, food and energy spheres.
