Expert assesses risks of a massive missile strike on Ukraine in early May

Russia has now exhausted a significant portion of its missile stockpile.
The Russian military has stockpiled domestically produced missiles, enough to launch a new massive strike on Ukrainian territory. A new attack is likely to take place in early May. This was stated by military experts in a commentary for TSN.ua.
They pointed out that the last massive strike was on 9 March, which means that the Russians could have already prepared for a new attack.
In particular, Oleksandr Kovalenko, a military and political observer of the Information Resistance group, said that the Russians might launch a new strike using naval or aviation carriers. He also pointed out that in this case, the Russians would not be able to use all the available missile carriers, as many of them have exhausted their service life and are out of order.
Kovalenko specified that the question is about the Soviet-era aeroplanes.
Russians cannot rely on a large-scale attack, because they have already limited capabilities," he pointed out, referring to the enemy's aviation.
He also noted that Russians not only have missiles to attack, but they are also actively using drones.
Using kamikaze drones is much cheaper, but the effect is almost the same. The Russians are constantly attached to dates such as May 1, May 9. For Odessa it might be May 2. Incidentally, it coincides with a two-week pause after today's drone raid. We see that now they are focusing on Odessa," Kovalenko said.
