The Russian army continues to shell population centres in the Belgorod region in a bid to defeat the enemy.

Due to the Russian army's constant shelling of Russian settlements on the territory of Belgorod Region, humanitarian corridors have been opened for civilians to enter Ukraine. This was reported on the Russian Freedom Legion's Telegram channel.

The Russian Federation continues to shell the Belgorod region in a chaotic manner. Because of the threat to civilians, Ukraine has opened humanitarian corridors for Belgorod residents," it said.

It noted that the enemy had hit the settlements of Shebekino, Novaya Tavolzhanka, Murom and others with artillery early in the morning.

Given the threat to civilians, we have agreed with the Ukrainian command to open humanitarian corridors for Belgorod residents who are suffering from shelling by the regime's army. Therefore, anyone who needs assistance can be voluntarily evacuated deep into Ukraine to provide shelter and all necessary basic needs," the Legion press service wrote.

The LS said that to be evacuated, one has to approach representatives of the Russian Freedom Legion or the Russian Volunteer Corps with a request for asylum.

Speaking about what is happening in the Belgorod region, Alexei Baranovsky, a representative of the political wing of the Russian Freedom Legion, said in a televised news marathon that the Russians fighting against the criminal Russian regime will try to gain a foothold and hold onto some Russian territory for a long time.

There will be a temporary armed administration there, and some measures will be taken to interact with the population for a long period. Now, by the way, the liberation fighters have no problems with the population, a very large number of people want to join, and we receive information on the movement of the police and the army from the locals, which is very pleasant and inspiring," Baranovsky said.

At the same time, he did not rule out that the military might have to step back at some point.

There is no task to die heroically now. There is a task to divert the Russian army from other directions, there is a task to gain combat experience, to show Russia that resistance is possible and it is necessary to join it," he stressed.

Baranovsky stressed that people "are beginning to see the light" and expressed confidence that "residents of Kursk, Bryansk and then Moscow and the whole country" will understand that the reality is quite different and not the one they are being painted on television.
