Denmark intends to send soldiers to Ukraine

Denmark plans to train soldiers in a real-world environment.
Denmark intends to send its military to Ukraine to study the experience of modern warfare, including the use of drones. The commander of the Danish army, Peter Boysen, said this in an interview with TV 2.
He explained that he aims to prepare Danish soldiers for combat techniques of modern warfare borrowed from the Ukrainian experience - in particular, it is about the use of attack drones.
The Danish military is already training to use drones similar to those used on the frontline in Ukraine. But it is necessary to speed up the training process and send groups of Danish soldiers to Ukraine for training," Boysen said.
Peter Boysen said that it is planned that both instructors and soldiers will undergo courses in Ukraine, which will last from one to two weeks. The final terms of the exercise have not been approved yet, as well as the number of Danish military personnel who may take part in it.
He added that the Danish military will be deployed at a safe distance from the front line and in premises with good shelters.
Meanwhile, the Russian embassy in Denmark has already expressed outrage that the Danish military will go to Ukraine to gain military experience.
Sending Danish servicemen to Ukraine, in particular to study combat experience, drags Denmark deeper and deeper into the conflict in Ukraine and provokes its further uncontrolled escalation," Russian Ambassador Vladimir Barbin replied to the TV channel in writing.
