Ukraine intends to liberate all its territories seized since 2014.

There will be no ceasefire negotiations with Russia until Russia returns the occupied territories to Ukraine. Until then, attacks on the Russian military infrastructure will continue. This was stated by the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, Oleksiy Danilov, in an interview with Kyodo News.

There is no point in holding any negotiations while Russia continues to occupy (Ukrainian) territory, including Crimea," he said.

Speaking about who is now ruling Russia, the head of the National Security and Defence Council stressed that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is a "terrorist" and a "modern Hitler" who killed at least 500 Ukrainian children, and there are no negotiations with terrorists.

He expressed his belief that "the situation will change radically" after F-16 fighter jets arrive from the West to strengthen Ukrainian air defences and then the Ukrainian offensive will be more intense.

Danilov agreed that Ukraine has an informal agreement not to use Western weapons to attack mainland Russia, but noted that sites around Moscow could become targets for domestically produced munitions.

He also allayed fears that international attention and support would diminish amid the escalating situation between Israel and the Hamas group, saying, "There has been no decrease in communication with the United States and Europe. Co-operation continues and we receive assistance every day."

Danilov reiterated that Ukraine aims to regain all its lands. At the same time, he admitted that it is difficult to name the time needed to return all of the country's territory.
