Czech Republic named the biggest threat and risk to Europe

Russia has far-reaching plans that go beyond Ukraine.
Russia remains one of the main threats to Europe. If Moscow wins the war in Ukraine, it will not stop and will go further to the West. Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky was quoted by Telex as saying this.
The Czech diplomat said this during a visit to Budapest in the presence of Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó.
The Czech Republic sees Russian imperialism as the greatest threat and risk for Europe," he said.
Lipavsky emphasised that his country would support Ukraine as long as necessary. He pointed out that it was in Europe's interest for Ukraine to defeat the Russian invaders and push them back from its territory.
He emphasised that it is the Ukrainians who are now doing the most for the security of the European space.
It is naive to think that if Russia wins in Ukraine, its tanks will stop at our borders," the minister said.
He recalled that after the Second World War Moscow had included Central Europe in the Russian sphere of influence. In the foreign minister's opinion, the Kremlin, if it wins, will want to repeat the "seizure" of Europe by subordinating the political system in many European countries to Russia's interests.
