Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, is in the top of the fastest growing in terms of the number of millionaires.



According to Henley & Partners Group analysts, the largest number of moneybags live in American New York. There are also many millionaires in Tokyo and San Francisco. The study was published on the official website of the company. The rating includes 20 cities from around the world.

The authors of the project clarify that by "millionaires" they mean people who have assets of one million dollars or more.

They also note that half of the top 20 cities are located in the United States. Also, many people with a solid bank deposit live in London, Singapore, Beijing and the city of Shanghai.

The most active growth of millionaires is observed in the US Houston (6%), Swiss Geneva (5%) and the San Francisco Bay Area (4%).

The top cities where the number of moneybags is rapidly growing also included Riyadh from Saudi Arabia, Sharjah from the United Arab Emirates and Lusaka from Zambia. The growth was 20%, 20% and 18% respectively.

At the same time, it is noted that this year there was a trend when millionaires left the big cities and moved to a more peaceful area. The largest decline in the number of wealthy people is observed in Hong Kong - minus 14%. A 12% decline was recorded in New York and Paris.

It should be noted that in Ukraine there are on average more than 1.5 thousand people who have funds from one million dollars and more.
