Captured Russian explains his motivation to fight in Ukraine

The Russian occupier said he went to war against Ukraine because he had nowhere to live.
A Russian occupier in Ukrainian captivity has explained that he went to fight in Ukraine because he had nowhere to live. A video of the conversation with the occupant was published by the Ukrainian parliamentary commissioner for human rights, Dmytro Lubinets, on 11 February.
"This is the 'motivation' of Russians to go to war in Ukraine and kill people," the ombudsman wrote.
He noted that for 718 days already Russian military ruthlessly and cynically destroy the Ukrainian people, taking the lives of children, women and men.
We must do everything to ensure that the terrorist state is held accountable for every crime committed. For every life taken by Russian soldiers," Dmytro Lubinets stressed.
