On April 16, Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with Boris Johnson.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, during a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, assured the Ukrainian leader that he would continue to supply our state with means for self-defense. According to him, "the transfer of armored vehicles will take place in the coming days." This is stated on the UK government website.

The parties also discussed the need for a long-term security solution for Ukraine, and Boris Johnson said he will continue to work closely with allies and partners to ensure that Ukraine can defend its sovereignty in the coming weeks and months.

In addition, the British Prime Minister informed Volodymyr Zelensky about the sanctions against Russia that came into force last week. He expressed confidence that Ukraine would succeed and Putin would fail.

Ukraine steadfastly resists the Russian invasion 53rd day. During the war, the aggressor suffered large-scale losses, without achieving the desired results, continues missile attacks and builds up forces in the east of the country. Thanks to the successful actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, peaceful life is returning to Kyiv and dozens of other cities. But at the same time, the terrible truth about the atrocities of the enemy against civilians in the territories that were under occupation is revealed.
