On April 16, Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with Boris Johnson.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, during a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, assured the Ukrainian leader that he would continue to supply our state with means for self-defense. According to him, "the transfer of armored vehicles will take place in the coming days." This is stated on the UK government website.
The parties also discussed the need for a long-term security solution for Ukraine, and Boris Johnson said he will continue to work closely with allies and partners to ensure that Ukraine can defend its sovereignty in the coming weeks and months.
In addition, the British Prime Minister informed Volodymyr Zelensky about the sanctions against Russia that came into force last week. He expressed confidence that Ukraine would succeed and Putin would fail.
