Britain prepares to accept 20,000 Ukrainian military personnel for training in 2023

Defence Minister Ben Wallace said this in a speech to parliament.

Improving on our success with basic training for the Ukrainian military in Britain in 2022, we are also increasing their numbers to another 20,000 this year. Canada, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Lithuania, the Netherlands, New Zealand are already involved in this process, and I am pleased to say that a group of Australian trainers will also join.

The British Minister also noted that Ukraine must continue to be supported militarily in order to win the war with Russia. He also stated that the next meeting of the Ramstein format would focus on this very topic.

Wallace also believes that in 2023 Russia will continue to have problems both in managing and equipping its army.

It is worth noting that Britain recently announced a new aid package for Ukraine, which will include tanks, drones and 100,000 artillery shells.
