A border guard with the call sign "Yavor" offers some essential and practical advice that can keep you safe on the battlefield.

This was reported by the press service of the State Border Service.

Top 5 tips in combat from a border guard:

The first and most important thing to advise a serviceman who goes into battle is to be morally prepared for any eventuality, because you do not know what awaits you, so you need to tune in and prepare yourself for the most difficult. Because the battle is: blood, sweat and death, and death, unfortunately, not only of the enemy, but also of your fellow soldiers.

The second tip, perhaps no less important, is to take as many turnstiles with you as possible. At a minimum, one tourniquet per limb, but remember that one tourniquet may not be enough, so take as many as possible to protect yourself from bleeding.

The third tip regarding your weapon. It should be in perfect condition and cleaned. After all, your own weapon, with which you go into battle, should not let you down, on the contrary - should serve you as a reliable tool of fire. This should be treated as responsibly as possible.

The fourth tip is your personal protection from bullets and shrapnel, namely: a protective helmet, body armour or a plytonoska.

I prefer plytonoski, because it is more comfortable and you feel much more mobile in it. But it all depends on the specifics of combat missions. If you are on the positions and active defence, then of course body armour is the best option, - says "Yavor".

The last fifth piece of advice comes exclusively from me. Guys, I realise that sometimes you don't have time, sometimes you just don't have enough strength, but you need to train all the time. Because your life and the lives of your fellow soldiers depend on your personal training.
