Politico journalist Christopher Miller obtained access to images of the Russian prisoner of war camp in the temporarily occupied Yelenovka, taken by the Maxar satellite. He wrote about this on Twitter .

We are talking about a barracks in which Ukrainian prisoners of war were kept. Only two photos before the explosion and two after.

The photo shows how the colony in the occupied Yelenovka looked before and after the terrorist attack - on July 27 and July 30.

These pictures confirm that the barracks where the Ukrainian prisoners of war were kept was blown up from the inside. All the buildings around are intact, - the journalist noted.

In turn, InformNapalm investigators claim that the Russians could have used thermobaric weapons to burn prisoners in their sleep.

At the same time, InformNapalm emphasized that it was definitely not the HIMARS MLRS system that hit the institution.

Investigators came to such conclusions by analyzing the nature of the damage to the colony in Yelenovka in the published photos.

According to the organization, in this way the Russians wanted to get rid of evidence of torture and murder of prisoners, as well as to discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russia did not want to return the defenders of Azovstal to Ukraine, where they would be greeted as heroes. Their death penalty will lead to war crimes charges and endanger Russian POWs in Ukrainian hands. At the same time, HIMARS gave the Ukrainians hope, so Russia decided to stage the murder of prisoners of war as if they were killed by a GMLRS missile in order to drown out the joy of Ukrainians from HIMARS, the investigative report noted.

They noted that the Ukrainian side could not use the expensive HIMARS weapon on a target so close to the front line. Besides, everyone knew that our warriors might be there.

An analysis of the photos published by the Russians from the scene of the tragedy shows that the Russians staged the missile attack incompetently, because none of them knows how the MLRS works. If a GMLRS missile hit, there should be an impact crater in the middle of the room. And he is not, - the message says.

In the opinion of InformNapalm members, it is most likely that the Russian invaders locked the prisoners indoors and fired RPO-A Shmel or MRO-A thermobaric ammunition through the windows. Since 2014, DPR militants controlled by the Russian Federation have had such types of ammunition.

It was a premeditated murder, just like in Katyn, according to InformNapalm.
