Residents of the Zaporozhye region are strongly advised to leave their homes and leave the war zone in the near future. The need to evacuate was announced on the air of the national information telethon by the chairman of the Zaporizhzhya OVA Oleksandr Starukh.

We advise people who are in the occupied territories to leave. Up to a third left each territory. For those who are in the war zone, this is the Pologovsky district and Vasilyevsky, we recommend that you leave without fail. Up to 80% of people left there,” he said.

At the same time, he noted that the decision on mass evacuation will be made exclusively by the military command.

According to him, the most active hostilities are now taking place in the Donbass and Lugansk region, as well as in the eastern communities of the Zaporozhye region.

We do not see such a concentration of funds for the city of Zaporozhye. As soon as we see that enough forces are concentrated there to launch an offensive, then measures will be taken, in particular, evacuation," Starukh added.
