Residents of Rivne and Volyn regions were urged to leave for a while
He noted that in a month the situation will change.
Ukrainian military officer Valeriy Markus has recommended residents of the Rivne and Volyn regions who live near the border with Belarus to "go somewhere to rest for a month". He wrote:
Whoever lives in the north-western part of Rivne region and north-eastern Volyn region, I recommend to go somewhere to rest for the next month. As soon as everything is fine, you will calmly return to yourself
Military expert Andrei Kovalenko reacted to his words. According to him, by the end of November Ukraine will understand how many people and equipment Russia has brought to Belarus. Now, he said, six thousand occupants are concentrated there, 80 percent of which are "mobikes", as well as the Taman Division, which was defeated near Kharkiv.
For his part, the head of the Rivne Regional Military District Administration Vitaly Koval wrote that there is no threat from Belarus and there are no changes on the border at the moment.
The Institute for the Study of War notes that a repeat Russian offensive into Ukraine from Belarus is unlikely. Because there are now few forces on Belarusian territory that would be able to carry out an invasion.
