During the NATO summit in The Hague, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a bilateral meeting with US President Donald Trump.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that the key topics at his meeting with US leader Donald Trump were the delivery of Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems, sanctions policy and the development of bilateral relations in the energy sector. He said this at a joint press conference with Polish President Andrzej Duda.

The range of topics is very broad. We discussed all the issues that interest us, primarily those related to the Patriot system," the head of state said, commenting on the content of the talks with Trump.

According to Zelensky, the conversation also touched on sanctions measures and the development of partnership after the signing of the agreement between Ukraine and the USA on fossil resources. He stressed that the parties agreed to continue dialogue at the level of profile teams.

We have agreed that further interaction will be established between the ministers of defence, the US secretary of state and the Ukrainian foreign minister, as well as between the head of my office and his colleagues from the US side," he specified.

In addition, the economic part of the talks will be continued by First Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko, Zelensky said.

The spirit of the conversation itself was productive. And this is a good signal, - the President stressed, assessing the results of communication with Trump.

Recall that the meeting between Vladimir Zelensky and Donald Trump took place on 25 June on the margins of the NATO summit in The Hague. Following its results, Trump also commented on the possibility of transferring missiles for Patriot SAMs to Ukraine.
