- Zelensky names what weapons Ukraine needs now in the first place

Volodymyr Zelensky said that the ongoing conflict in the Middle East threatens US support for Kiev, especially the supply of Patriot air defence missiles. Ukraine counts on the help of European partners, but limited resources and arms diversion create new risks for the security of citizens and infrastructure.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that the ongoing conflict between the USA and Israel with Iran could seriously affect America's support for Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in an interview with the Associated Press.
According to him, if hostilities in the Middle East drag on, Kiev risks facing a reduction in the supply of critical weapons, in particular Patriot air defence missiles, which are needed to protect Ukrainian cities from Russian ballistic strikes.
These U.S. systems have never been supplied in sufficient quantities. If the war with Iran does not end soon - the package, which is not very big for us, I think, will be smaller and smaller every day," he said.
Zelensky noted that US Patriot systems have never been supplied in sufficient quantities, and the continuation of the war in Iran further weakens global resources and diverts arms supplies, making Ukrainian cities more vulnerable. The president stressed that he had counted on the assistance of European partners in acquiring Patriot missiles, but the limited production capacity and redirection of resources due to the conflict in the Middle East pose serious difficulties.
Zelenskyy stressed that Ukraine was closely following the developments and preparing for the consequences, given the critical need for an effective air defence system to protect citizens and infrastructure.
