Zelensky reports on conversation with Xi Jinping
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski had a telephone conversation with Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
Zelenskyy said this on Twitter.
According to the Ukrainian leader, the conversation with the head of the People's Republic of China was long and meaningful.
Had a long informative phone conversation with the head of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping. I believe that it, as well as the appointment of Ukrainian Ambassador to China will give a strong impetus to the development of our bilateral relations, - he wrote.
It should be noted that this is the first conversation between Zelenskyy and Xi Jinping since the start of the full-scale invasion.
We shall remind you that the head of state invited Xi Jinping to visit Ukraine or at least to have a phone conversation after the Chinese leader visited Moscow. At that time, Chinese representatives said that the country did not support Russian aggression and would not give it weapons.
