According to satellite images, the most fortified areas are Zaporizhzhya region - 1,869 km, and Donetsk region - 1,865 km.

In the Kherson region 886 kilometres of fortifications were recorded. Most of them are along the Dnieper - from Novaya Kakhovka to Geroyskoye. The approaches to the Crimean Isthmus are also fortified, while in Crimea itself there are only 265 kilometres of fortifications.
