West actively increases arms supplies to Ukraine ahead of counter-offensive

Since late last year, the Pentagon has delivered 40% of its promised arms to Ukraine.
This was reported by The Economist.
According to the journalists, since 9 December 2022, the Pentagon has sent 8bn dollars worth of military aid to Ukraine. This is about 40 per cent of all promised arms to Ukraine since the start of full-scale war.
As a consequence, Ukrainian armaments are being actively transformed. If at the end of last year the ratio of Ukrainian to Western equipment was five to one, as aid arrives it is expected to fall to five to two.
European experts say that if Russia decides to go further into the Donetsk region for occupation, it will further deplete its meagre reserves. The occupiers will then start pulling in combat units from other parts of the long front line, creating gaps that Ukraine can exploit.
