Russian troops continue to exert pressure in the east of Ukraine, but the seizure of the entire Donetsk Region remains impossible. This was reported by the Telegram channel of the head of the Centre for Countering Disinformation (CCA), Andriy Kovalenko.

According to him, Russian foreign intelligence is trying to convince its Western partners that the Russian Federation is capable of establishing control over the entire region already this year. However, these statements do not correspond to the real situation on the front.

Their daily losses in killed and wounded have averaged 1,200 since the beginning of the year. Despite the large number of troops, replenishment with reserves does not compensate for the daily losses during the assaults," Kovalenko said.

The situation on the front remains extremely difficult. Over the past 24 hours there were 175 military clashes. The occupants used more than 150 guided aerial bombs and over 5.6 thousand kamikaze drones. In the Pokrovskyi direction, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 50 assaults in populated areas.
