Volz said that Ukraine will not join NATO and will lose some of its territories

Washington believes that Ukraine should "pay" for international guarantees.
The US presidential administration believes that the possibility of Ukraine joining NATO remains "extremely unlikely". This view is shared not only by the USA but also by a number of other member states of the alliance, the US president's national security adviser, Mike Waltz, said in an interview on ABC News.
A permanent path to NATO, or permanent NATO membership, is incredibly unlikely for Ukraine - he said.
He also suggested that as part of a settlement of the war, Ukraine may have to give up some territory in exchange for future international security guarantees.
The settlement of the conflict may include certain territorial concessions from Kiev in exchange for international security guarantees," Volz said.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that Ukraine would have to make territorial concessions as part of any peace agreement with Russia.
