The European Commission has offered a package of aid to European farmers on condition that they lift the import restriction.

This was reported by the Ukrainian news and analysiswebsite Ukrinform.

According to official information, Hungary is the only country among all Ukraine's neighbours that has not yet cancelled the unilateral restriction on imports of Ukrainian agricultural products.

This information was confirmed by the press secretary of the European Commission for Trade and Agriculture, Myriam Garcia Ferrer.

There is still one country that has not cancelled unilateral measures against agricultural exports from Ukraine. This does not necessarily affect Ukrainian transit (of grain. - Ed.), nor does it affect the entire EU. But we have offered a package of aid on the condition that the unilateral measures be withdrawn. The country that has not done so is Hungary.

The Commission had to take several measures to help the European agrarians and in particular to provide financial aid of 100 million euros. In return the European countries were to abolish individual measures against agricultural imports from Ukraine.

Until recently there were two such countries: Hungary and Slovakia. However, Slovakia decided to change its position. And only pro-Russian Hungary remains the only country that continues to stubbornly lobby for anti-Ukrainian decisions. Which, of course, is to the advantage of the Russian terrorist state.
