Britain may give Ukraine long-range missiles - media
These are Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missiles.
This was reported by the Washington Post citing a procurement notice posted by the International Foundation for Ukraine on 2 May.
According to the journalists, the UK Ministry of Defence may provide Ukraine with missiles with a range of up to 300 km. A precise answer will be provided within 3 days.
Most likely it is the Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missiles.
Such long-range missiles can help Ukraine in a counter-offensive: clearing the way for a ground offensive by tanks and infantry.
The main advantage of Storm Shadows missiles is that they can be mounted on Ukrainian Soviet-made jets.
