The AFU said the army had advanced in the Tavricheskiy direction
The Ukrainian army launched a counter-offensive in the summer, liberating Ukrainian territories from the invaders.
Ukrainian soldiers have advanced north of Kopaniv and Novoprokopivka in the Tavriya direction. This was reported by the commander of the operational-strategic grouping of troops "Tavriya", General Oleksandr Tarnavskyy
He said that the Defence Forces from the rocket troops and artillery units of the Task Force "Tavria" performed 1265 firing missions. The enemy losses totalled 338 people. In particular, 52 units of terrorists' equipment were destroyed, namely:
- 7 tanks;
- 7 TBMS;
- 14 artillery systems;
- 1 MLRS;
- 1 PTRK;
- 3 UAVs;
- 17 vehicles;
- 2 specialised vehicles.
Tarnavskyy also said that the soldiers destroyed an ammunition depot and "another important enemy facility".
At the same time, the terrorists
- carried out 14 air strikes;
- conducted 22 military clashes;
- carried out 782 artillery shellings.
We would like to add that Russia has lost about 281,700 personnel since the start of the war.
