In Ukraine, you can be allowed to drive a car from the age of 16

In Ukrainian driving schools, it is allowed to study in driving schools from the age of 16.
Ukrainian parliamentarians have registered a bill, which is supposed to allow people from 16 years old to drive a car. The relevant bill has been posted on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.
According to the document, persons who have reached the age of 16, with a written, notarized consent of their parents, can drive category B vehicles if they are equipped with an automatic transmission. If a manual transmission is installed on the car, then, according to the draft law, persons who have reached the age of 17 can drive such cars.
Also, such a person is held liable for harm caused while driving, if any.
In the event of harm to another person, the minor is liable. Namely, it is responsible for the damage caused to them independently on a general basis. If a minor does not have property sufficient to compensate for the damage caused to him, this damage is compensated by his parents or guardian, unless they prove that the damage was caused through no fault of theirs, the law says.
Recall that today in Ukrainian driving schools you can learn to drive vehicles of category B from the age of 16, but driving on public roads is allowed only after reaching 18 years.
