Russia proposes to give land to those who fought in Ukraine in the Crimea and near Moscow

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation plans to distribute the land.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation proposes to reward for participation in the war against Ukraine with allotments of land in the Moscow region and in the Crimea. As conceived by Russian officials, the land should be given to the military and employees of other structures, marked with awards for participating in a "special military operation." The draft decree has been published on the Russian legal information portal, Krym.Realii reports.
At the same time, the executive authorities of both the occupied Crimea and the Moscow region are invited to prepare the relevant documentation and, in fact, the land plots themselves, which will reward those who have particularly distinguished themselves.
According to the plan of the Ministry of Defense, land should be given free of charge.
It should be noted that in Russia, in addition to the military themselves, members of the FSB of Russia and civilian specialists are recognized as participants in hostilities - for example, doctors and builders who performed "tasks" in Ukraine. All participants in hostilities in Ukraine are subject to the law "On Veterans" and related benefits: tax, transport, land, housing measures of social support, as well as benefits for paying for housing, including rented, and utility bills. Starting this year, Russian universities will start accepting children of combatants under a special quota without entrance exams. Combat veterans have benefits for free public transport in most regions. They also offer prostheses.
