Russia sets new conditions for ending war

This is not the first time Russia has come up with "conditions" to end a war.

The foreign ministry of Russia's aggressor state has put forward new conditions for allegedly stopping the war in Ukraine. The NEXTA Live Telegram channel has reported about this.

As noted, the deputy head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Mikhail Galuzin, made new demands to Kiev. In particular, the Russian official said that the Kremlin would end the "conflict" if Ukraine recognizes the Russian language as the state language and if Ukrainians do not join the EU.

Galuzin also said that Western countries should stop supporting Ukraine.

A settlement is possible only if the Ukrainian Armed Forces cease combat operations and Western arms deliveries. To achieve a comprehensive, just and lasting peace, Ukraine should return to the neutral non-aligned status, which was enshrined in the 1990 declaration on its state sovereignty," Haluzin said.

Additionally, he demanded that Ukraine acknowledge "new territorial realities".

It is noteworthy that the majority of Ukrainians do not accept any conditions put forward by the Kremlin from time to time. In particular, according to the results of an all-Ukrainian poll conducted by the Sociological group "Rating", 97% of Ukrainians believe in its victory and wish to return the 1991 borders.
