Russia may introduce cards for products

Hyperinflation, unemployment and the fall in real incomes of the Russian population have recently reached “impressive” indicators, writes the Telegram channel Pravda Gerashchenko.

According to Rosstat, the results of the first quarter of 2022 are disappointing. More than 20 million people live below the poverty line in the Russian Federation, which is 5 million more than last year, the report says.

All this, together with the growth of social discontent in depressed regions, may lead to the introduction of food stamps for the population, which the authorities will try to present as a “modern” way to support the population.
