Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov said that Russia is preparing for mass deportation of the Ukrainian population to "depressed areas" of Russia.



Alexey Danilov published his statement on his Twitter page:

Putin's martial law in the annexed regions is a preparation for the mass deportation of the Ukrainian population to depressed areas in order to change the ethnic composition of the occupied territory. A crime that should be condemned by the UN and which has already been committed by Russia in Crimea and remains unpunished.

Today, October 19, Putin signed a decree on the introduction of martial law in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, today the Russian Federation Council approved Putin's decree on the introduction of martial law in the "LPR", "DPR", Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.

According to Putin's decree, martial law is introduced from 00:00 on October 20, 2022.

In addition, Putin, in the temporarily occupied territories, instructed to introduce the so-called "territorial defense".
