Law enforcement officers exposed the heads of a charitable foundation in the Odessa region. He and his accomplices stole humanitarian aid, which was intended for Ukrainian defenders. This was reported by the department of the SBU of the Odessa region.
According to investigators, the head of one of the local volunteer foundations set up a scheme for the supply of military and humanitarian goods, which were donated by foreign charitable organizations.
Among other things, for the Ukrainian soldiers were transferred: night vision devices, helmets, bulletproof vests and first aid kits. However, this cargo did not reach the front line. His accomplices were selling.
The head of the fund, together with his subordinate, was detained during the implementation of a consignment of international humanitarian aid in the amount of more than 500 thousand hryvnias.
The head of the fund was informed of the suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 201-2 of the UKU. Investigations are ongoing.
