The Ministry of Health told at what age children should not watch the news


Footage shown in news stories can adversely affect the health of children.
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine recommended that adults not watch the news with their children. We are talking about those kids who are not yet ten years old, the press service of the Ministry of Health writes .
Experts noted that what they see on the screens can become a real stress for children, which in turn - the start for the development of certain ailments. For example, the report notes, children may develop stuttering, nervous tics, stuttering, and anxiety.
Tiki, the most common disorder. For example, a child suffering from them can blink rapidly and repeatedly, even if nothing irritates his eyes, the Ministry of Health reported.
They emphasized that the tic disorder is manifested mainly by one or more motor tics (clicking or shrugging) or vocal tics (humming, clearing the throat, shouting out words or phrases). they may occur frequently, almost every day, for at least four weeks or two consecutive months. If the disease becomes chronic, it can disturb the child for up to a year.
Doctors recommend that if a child is in the same room with their parents while watching delicate footage, they should be distracted by the game. The same rule in the Ministry of Health is recommended to be applied during the sounding of sirens. Also, one should not emotionally discuss the events taking place with the child.
When a siren sounds and you need to take cover, offer the children a game to see who will run or gather faster. In the shelter, talk to the child about the future, which is sure to be joyful. Telling a fairy tale, drawing this future together is important for the baby to feel: you are calm and everything will be fine, the experts advised.
